The NZ Certificate in Māori Business and Management (Level 4) is an NZQA-recognised Māori business course that teaches you how to lead, plan, and manage using both traditional Māori principles and modern business practices.
Learn to apply tikanga and Te Ao Māori values in real-world workplaces, empowering you to support Māori business development and make a meaningful impact in your organisation or community.

Course Delivery
All studies are completed online in your own environment. Studies are conducted using the Canvas eLearning platform along with regular virtual tutor support. Students require a computer and internet access. All of the necessary materials required to successfully complete assessments will be available through the learning platform. For some assessments, you may like to do additional research through textbooks or the internet, however you won’t be required to purchase textbooks.

Duration: 40 Weeks Part-Time (15 hours weekly) or 20 Weeks Full-Time (35 hours weekly)
Fees: Zero fees, no hidden costs or textbooks
Upcoming Intake Date: February 16th 2026 (part time only)
