For your NZQA record of learning to be updated with the latest results, the following three steps must be completed:

  1. Your Qualification data is sent to the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) via the Single Data Return (SDR) Process.
  2. TEC validate the data then send it to the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA).
  3. NZQA re-validate the data and update your Record of Learning.

We have been advised by TEC and NZQA that they are experiencing significant delays. Once we have sent them your data, it can take at least 18 months for your record of learning to be updated.

Unfortunately, this is something that is affecting all providers and students and is beyond our control.
