Graduate Story | Katie Ashcroft
NZ Certificate in Māori & Business Management – Level 3
I am delighted to share my success story as a graduate of the NZ Certificate in Māori & Business
Management from Aspire2. I completed this program in August last year, and it has been a truly fulfilling journey.
The decision to study online was driven by my busy life as a single mom working full time. I wanted to learn some extra skills without compromising my other commitments. Choosing Aspire2 Business Management Programmes was an excellent choice for several reasons.
At the time, I was considering a career change, and this program offered a stepping stone into tertiary education without the commitment of a full-time degree. The fact that it was fees-free also motivated me to enroll.
The online application process was straightforward and hassle-free. I applied online and promptly received an email saying my application had been received. Within a week I had received my confirmation of enrollment with clear instructions on what I needed to do to prepare for the start of my classes.
My experience with my tutors was very positive. They were supportive and challenged me to find the right answers on my own, offering guidance along the way.
Having no set timetables and the flexibility to study online suited my busy schedule perfectly. The course was in-depth, yet manageable, allowing me to balance my other commitments effectively.
I was pleasantly surprised by the new skills I learned and how applicable they were to my work. The sustainability component of the course resonated with me, and I have been able to apply this knowledge to my job. Thanks to the skills I acquired during the course, I crafted an impressive CV that landed me an amazing job. I feel valued, understood, and able to make a meaningful contribution in the workplace.
Completing the studies right through to graduation is something that I am very proud of. Receiving the tangible certificate made the achievement feel more real, and it served as an inspiration to my children. They saw that I value education for myself, and it encouraged them to do the same.
I thoroughly recommend this program and Aspire2 as a whole to others seeking study opportunities. The course layout was well-structured, and I appreciated the focus on NZ and NZ business. I found it amazing that I could do my assignments bilingually with English and Māori, adding a unique touch to my learning experience.
I absolutely loved the program and how relevant it was to New Zealand. I cherished every aspect of the learning journey, and I am grateful for the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally with Aspire2.
