Growing up in New Zealand, Ava Meek discovered her passion for education and business early on. Inspired by her own academic journey, she pursued a Bachelor of Education at Massey University, setting the foundation for her future endeavors.
With a keen interest in business management and coaching, Ava expanded her expertise by completing a Diploma in Business Studies (Coaching) and a Diploma in Business Management.
Fast forward to the present day, Ava serves as the Programme Manager at BMP, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape. Her days are filled with writing new programmes and fine-tuning existing content to ensure students receive the most relevant and up-to-date education in the field of business.
In her role, Ava is committed to supporting tutors and students alike, striving to provide an excellent service and ensuring that every student feels supported on their educational journey. She firmly believes that education has the power to make a real difference and is passionate about delivering programmes that meet the needs of businesses today.
One of Ava’s most rewarding experiences is hearing positive feedback from students about the support they receive and the relevance of the programmes. Witnessing students return to complete multiple courses is a testament to the impact of her work and the dedication of the BMP team.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Ava is dedicated to continuous learning and cultural understanding. As a pākehā, she is committed to expanding her te ao Māori knowledge, supporting Māori and Pasifika students, and championing equitable opportunities for success in their programmes.
